Hello everyone!
My name is Kim, and I am mom to two beautiful boys, ages 11 1/2 and 10. My 11 year old has had type 1 diabetes for three years now. I have been reading a lot of blogs on the DOC for the past couple of months, and it has been a great source of information AND entertainment :) Finally I have set up this blog...it has taken me a while. I tend to have trouble with anything that requires me to sit still. I will never be as dedicated at blogging as most of you are, and it will probably take me eons to get my page looking halfway decent. Thank you all for the information and emotions you share..it really is so helpful! I have often been online reading DOC posts in the middle of one of THOSE nights. It is comforting to know there are those out there that get the difficulties of managing D. I tend to wear my son's blood sugar numbers on my sleeve...not good, I know, and I'm trying to get better at this. Now I have a place to rant, learn and pass along information; this outlet will be good for me. Thanks for being there and for reading!
